Regulations are set by various government agencies to provide guidance on parameter limits. Each regulation usually has several limits. These limits may vary depending on zoning, matrix, depth, and soil texture. EDMS can store any number of regulations and limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gaeatech.com\/edms.php\">GAEA Technologies EDMS (Environmental Data Management System)<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0comes preloaded with a several common environmental regulations, many other regulations come with the program and can be easily imported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a step-by-step guide on how to expand your regulatory library by importing new standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-importing-a-regulation\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Importing a Regulation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Regulations not currently in EDMS can be imported by selecting File > Import > Environmental Regulation when no project is open. The Import Environmental Regulation form will be displayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"761\" height=\"482\" src=\"https:\/\/gaeatech.com\/knowledge-center\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-75.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1284\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gaeatech.com\/knowledge-center\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-75.png 761w, https:\/\/gaeatech.com\/knowledge-center\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-75-300x190.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 761px) 100vw, 761px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To import a regulation, select it in the list and click on the OK button. The importing of a regulation may take several minutes. The regulation will then be available when comparing laboratory analysis results in EDMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-summary\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Summary<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Expanding your&nbsp;Environmental Data Management System&nbsp;library is a straightforward process.
