Text data is limited to 255 characters and there is no limit to the length of memo data. When the headers are specified in the template, you can specify the header as either text data or a memo. If a width or height is specified for the header it is assumed to be a memo; otherwise, it is assumed to be text data. When entering boring data for a log, the Borehole Data form contains three tabs. The last two tabs are for text data and memo data. If the data type is specified as memo data in the template it will show up in the memo tab. The template title will also be shown in the memo tab; however, this title can be modified or deleted.
