The network monitor can either be closed and hidden or shutdown. To close and hide the network monitor click on the Close button on the Network Monitor form. After being closed the network monitor will continue to be run as a process and a program icon will be displayed in the system tray. A popup menu can be displayed by right clicking on the program icon in the system tray.

 

To shutdown the network monitor click on the Shutdown button on the Network Monitor form, The process will be shutdown and will not appear in the system tray.
