Dry Density

 

ρd = 100 * ρw / (100 + W)

 

where,

ρd        = Dry density

ρw        = Wet density

W        = Percentage moisture

 

 

Compaction

 

Compaction (%) = 100 * ρd / ρtmd

 

where,

ρtmd        = Test maximum density
