July 2019: GAEA Technologies is very happy to announce the release of the GDMS (Geotechnical Data Management System) module of GaeaSynergy. GDMS integrates geotechnical testing and quality control with a laboratory information management system. It is used to perform a wide variety of geotechnical tests and store the data and results in a managed database.
GDMS is a major upgrade of our popular WinSieve program and can easily import all of your WinSieve data and templates. It is currently on sale at the introductory price of $1695 US until the end of this year.
Below are some of the features of the Geotechnical Data Management System:
- Test results can be summarized in graphs and tables that can be displayed in reports.
- Reports can include legends, title blocks, corporate logos and other elements.
- Photos of test specimens and testing equipment can be linked and shown on reports.
- Test personnel and verifiers are stored with the test information and shown on reports.
- Results from other related tests can be shown on reports.
- Reports can be printed and exported to PDF files.
- Layout and formatting of reports is specified in report template.
- Report templates can be easily created and customized.
- GDMS comes with numerous predefined report templates.
- Concrete mix designs can be created and specified for concrete tests.
- Test results can be linked and used in other tests.
- Numerous predefined and customizable lists can be used to specify test information.
- Equipment inventory containing calibration, maintenance and repair records.
- Predefined and customizable sieve specification envelopes.
- Units can be easily selected and converted.
- Test data can be copied and pasted to Excel.
- Multiple test results can be summarized, filtered and displayed in project views.
- Filter and display test results at sample locations on project maps.
- Filter and display test results in 3D views of a project.
- Generate contour maps of test results.
- Schedule and track concrete tests.
- Display test results on boring and well logs.
