Practitioner-led from the beginning

Founded on multidisciplinary field and consulting experience

Michael Fraser, Founder

Before founding GAEA Technologies, Michael Fraser worked across oil and gas geophysics, mineral exploration, and environmental and geotechnical consulting. That multidisciplinary experience revealed a consistent problem: professionals were relying on fragmented tools that made technical data difficult to manage, interpret, and report.

GAEA was established in 1994 to address those practical challenges with specialized software designed from the perspective of the people doing the work.
