This example presents a 9 m rock-core borehole combining gamma ray and sonic velocity measurements with recovery, RQD, lithology, weathering and strength classification. All datasets share a consistent depth scale for direct comparison of geophysical response and interpreted rock conditions.

The warning identifies low RQD in strong sandstone from 1.20 to 1.80 m, demonstrating how WinLoG flags an unusual relationship for professional review without treating it as an automatic data error.
The gamma-ray and sonic-velocity curves are placed directly beside RQD, weathering, strength and lithology. This allows reviewers to compare changes in physical response with rock-type boundaries and engineering classifications without moving between separate reports.
The example also demonstrates review-oriented validation. A 20% RQD value in the strong sandstone interval is retained in the log but flagged because it is below the expected 25% threshold. The result can then be checked against the original core record and documented if the condition is valid.
